Buffalo Trace is my go-to. Excellent flavor, and amazing in a Manhattan. If you can’t find Blanton’s for sipping, Buffalo Trace is the next best option. Great price at Whole Foods, too!

For my money Woodford is my daily go to when it comes to bourbon. But Buffalo Trace is extremely tasty. Doesn’t bite or burn too much- not that that’s a bad thing.

For the price, this is great. Fairly smooth and mellow with pleasing toffee and vanilla undertones, this is really easy to sip and enjoy. Anyone can compare it unfavorably to much more expensive brands, but that’s really not fair–Buffalo Trace will please almost any bourbon drinker in any situation.Especially if you’re a casual fan, or if you’ve only ever had Jack, Jim, or Jameson whiskies, give this warm and sweet bourbon a try. I don’t think you’ll regret it!

I’m not a cheap man by nature and I’m willing to fork over the dollars for a fine bottle of bourbon. Fine bourbon as drinkers know goes down quick so its important to have a house staple. My journey for the lowest priced great bourbon started with Woodford Reserve ($36) to Elmer T Lee ($32) then Buffalo Trace ($25). Buffalo Trace holds its ground against and flatly beats out many Bourbons at a higher prices. Try everything cheap and expensive but always keep a bottle of Buffalo it’s amazing!
